“Making Lille an interesting and recognised platform”- Jonathan Stauber

Jonathan Stauber, CEO and founder of ImaBiotech

In your opinion, what will the installation of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in Lille represent?

The installation of the EMA in Lille would provide an opportunity to increase the number of visits within our company.

Lille would become an interesting and recognised platform. Our status as a province would no longer be a barrier but rather an advantage.

We are hoping for increased numbers of health professionals and a genuine collective stimulation to strengthen research and innovation across the region.

What do you think are the strengths of Lille to support this candidacy?

  • the Eurasanté park
  • the proximity to the United Kingdom and London
  • green spaces, well-preserved nature
  • the presence of many bilingual schools and bilingual childcare facilities already existing in our region that could attract the families of EMA employees.

What impacts would the establishment of the EMA have on your daily life and, on a larger scale, for the Hauts-de-France Region and France?

This installation would bring about:

  • numerous exchanges with English speakers
  • increased bilingual classes in the Lille metropolis
  • an increase in turnover for other companies in many sectors (hotels, restaurants, etc.).

You too support the candidacy of Lille and France !
